Happy Girl in Overalls

Lolli's diarrhea seems to have abated and she is eating well again (3 ounces of bananas in one sitting, with lots on "mmmmm" noises, followed by 2 ounces of multi-grain cereal, followed by 8 ounces of formula). Her runny nose is better too.

Dr Coy thinks that it could be any one of three things:
1. teething (this is what my daycare provider thinks it is)
2. her little body adjusting to fruits and veggies (she's had cereal since about four and half months old because of reflux)
3. a virus

If the diarrhea and general fussiness don't get better by Wednesday, I'll take her in for a stool culture, but based on the fact that she's so much better today, I'm guessing it's #1 or #2. Dr Coy suggested that we only give her rice cereal and bananas this week to help with the diarrhea, so that's what we're doing.

On a side note, I had been eyeing a pair of adorable overalls at Gap Baby for a while now, but couldn't justify spending that kind of outrageous money on clothes she'll outgrow in three months. This weekend, on our monthly blood letting at Babies R Us ($260 on the trifecta of formula, diapers, wipes and now baby food!), I saw an even cuter pair of overalls on clearance in the boy's section for $9.99. Score. Though, I have to say, I am shocked that the disparity in women's and men's clothing prices begins even with baby clothes. And... I couldn't resist the free shipping offer at Bobux and got her three pairs of their shoes (brown with elephants, blue with soccer balls and lavender with princesses on them).
