Hot-lanta Bound

By now, everyone knows that the we're moving to Atlanta in a few weeks. Today was Sloane's last day at her back up daycare at my office (the place she went to for two months last summer when I first went back to work and where I take her every few weeks or so). The wonderful ladies who work there gave her a fond farewell and there were lots of teary eyes. I can't imagine what it will be like in two weeks when she has her last day at her full time day care. The owner and the two women who work in the infant and toddler rooms are like family to us and to Sloane. It breaks my heart to have to take her away from them.

As John and I make lists and plans and get ourselves organized for our big move and the beginning of a new chapter in our lives, Sloane's been busy, well, being Sloane.

I wonder what mischief I can make with an unopened box of tissues?

Oh, yeah -- I can use it as a step ladder to climb things

I bet this ball would be fun to throw over the baby gate!

My two most favorite people in the whole world

Is it just me, or do those last two pictures make you misty-eyed?
