Pediatrician Update - Two Years Old
Sloane is truly a giant. I thought maybe I was measuring her wrong at home when I would consistently get 40 inches, but no, I was pretty much on....
Height - 39 and 1/2 inches => greater than 99%
Weight - 27 lbs 8 ounces ==> 68%
Head - 19.4 inches ==>90%
Sloane was really good and really funny at the doctor's office. My pediatrician said that if we followed the rule of thumb, Sloane will be about 6' 6" -- though she said that's probably unlikely. She did say that we can reasonably expect her to be a tall girl.
Pictures of her birthday parties (she had three) and her trip to Grandma and Grandpa's house in New Orleans, coming soon.

Thanks for the Sandbox!
And the birthday presents begin to roll in... Great Grandma got Sloane a sandbox which Sloane adored:
The only issue? She firmly believes that the fun of the sandbox is scooping out the sand and dumping it on the ground and no amount of convincing or redirecting could change her mind. Sigh. I guess we'll be buying sand every few weeks - thank goodness it's cheap.
